Do you want to be part of the legal team as an in-house lawyer supporting Red Bull's business units in the dynamic field of (digital) media with a focus on media regulatory issues worldwide?
This role involves setting up and advising on legal projects, collaborating with legal team members, and supporting media regulatory matters for platforms like Red Bull TV and digital platforms such as websites and apps. You will negotiate contracts focusing on civil law, copyright law, and telecommunication services law.
Legal Center of Expertise
As part of a legal centre of excellence, you will gain in-depth insights into media regulatory projects, advising on audiovisual media regulation, advertising, product placement, minors' protection, accessibility law, e-commerce, and related areas. You will draft legal guidelines, risk assessments, and work with business units on larger projects.
Contract Review and Negotiations
You will review, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements related to digital business models and international telecommunications collaborations, assessing legal and commercial risks and providing pragmatic solutions.
Templates and Processes
You will draft and review legal guidelines, templates, terms and conditions, and other legal documents. Additionally, you will support implementing legal processes to ensure compliance with evolving legal standards in media regulation.
Qualifications
- Law degree: European law degree; if German law degree, I. and II. State Exam (“Volljurist”); Post-graduate degree (e.g., LL.M) is advantageous
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in media law, telecommunications, digital laws, e-commerce, accessibility law, etc.
- Strong knowledge of civil law and legal contexts
- Ability to analyze new legal developments
- Experience in legal project management
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Independent, structured, precise working style
- Highly motivated and resilient personality
Additional Information
The minimum salary according to the collective agreement is EUR 2,303 gross per month, but the actual package is market-driven and above this minimum.
