Job Title: Agglomeration and Direct Reduction Project Leader
About the Role:
You will be responsible for the successful implementation of your projects, ensuring they meet defined financial, quality, and schedule targets. Your role involves identifying additional opportunities within ongoing projects, negotiating with stakeholders on change requests, and incorporating them into contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage projects to achieve set goals and objectives.
• Identify and assess risks, utilizing available risk assessment tools to mitigate potential issues.
• Continuously monitor project status, early identify discrepancies, and initiate mitigation measures where necessary.
• Collaborate with your team, agreeing targets and delegating defined responsibilities and authorities.
• Ensure compliance with valid regulations, rules, and standards.
• Maintain efficient communication with all relevant stakeholders.
• Drive project closure, ensuring all relevant information is filed and available for future projects.
Requirements:
• Secondary school with a technical or engineering focus.
• 5+ years management experience of complex construction and plant building projects.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering and business unit-related technology to understand technical implications.
• Advanced knowledge in project management methods and tools, contract law, and regulations for project business.
• Work experience in international teams.
• Willingness for travel and site delegations.
• Advanced knowledge in English and German.
