As a Software Development Engineer in Test III, you will design, develop, deploy, and maintain test automation for medium-complexity features.
Reporting to the Technical Lead, you will work within the Product & Tech team on end-to-end testing initiatives for various features.
Key responsibilities include:
* Enhancing test automation tools, scripts, coverage, and code structure.
* Debugging application issues and assisting developers in root cause analysis.
* Automating manual tasks to improve productivity.
* Developing detailed test plans and reviewing test cases.
* Managing timely testing, including manual testing.
* Applying programming languages, frameworks, and computer science fundamentals.
* Participating in product discussions and refining acceptance criteria.
* Gaining product knowledge and understanding technical architecture.
* Creating documentation and conducting code reviews.
* Collaborating with engineers, designers, and QEs on implementation details.
* Mentoring junior SDETs and leading onboarding processes.
* Contributing to interviews and process improvements.
Ideal candidates are results-driven full-stack QA engineers passionate about new challenges, proficient in all testing stages, experienced in API testing with tools like Postman and RESTAssured, skilled in test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray), and test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, C#, Gherkin). They should be capable of designing test automation frameworks from scratch, knowledgeable in testing non-functional requirements like performance, security, and accessibility, experienced in CI/CD and Agile methodologies, and possess strong communication skills.
