Job Description
Taking direct ownership of complex, large scale projects (Silicon, Software, associated HW, …) making sure that:
1. Project deliverables meet Product Requirement Specification
2. Project deliverables are in time
3. Costs are in budget
Critical aspects of the role include execution on given timelines (time-to-market), project budget responsibility, monitoring and reporting of project progress, comparison of plans against goals (technical and commercial) as well as overall project responsibility in leading and managing cross functional teams in multiple locations (project teams will be assembled from the resource pool and will return to the pool at the end of the project).

10. Establish, drive and maintain the overall project plan including efficient regular reporting to both internal and external teams
11. Define all milestones and track on a regular basis. Highlight issues and derive options for resolution. Ensure risk analysis is completed and maintained including options and trigger dates
12. Organize and hold regular status meetings. Derive regular reports including management and customer updates.
13. Lead and manage cross functional teams across multiple locations to deliver the program. This includes but is not limited to:
14. Marketing
15. Design Engineering (Silicon and Software)
16. IP procurement / insourcing
17. Operations (Quality, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Planning, …)
18. Maintain project budgets and highlight changes versus the plan. Hold regular reviews on product profitability (gross margin) and derive corrective actions
19. Driving clear decision making including proper stakeholder management and recording
Qualifications
20. 3 years+ experience of managing large, multi-disciplined teams
21. 3 years+ experience of successfully managing complex (IC) design projects.
22. Proof of working with satellite teams in different locations/countries
23. Proof of being able to work with 3rd parties and/or external contract resource companies
24. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
25. Excellent customer and stakeholder management skills
26. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
27. Gravitas, strength of opinion and effective influencing skills
28. Strong presentation skills to present concise program status
29. Significant experience in semiconductor/engineering environment
30. Experience/awareness of the of IC design process including physical design
31. Experience/awareness of the of SW design process, especially embedded SW design
32. Experience of working with IC fabrication, assembly and test organizations
33. Technical acumen with ability to manage technical issues within a return on investment or risk management framework
34. Strong commercial awareness
35. Language skills – English is essential, Dutch and/or German desirable
