We are looking for an experienced
Data Engineer
with a strong focus on
Microsoft Fabric
to join our team and help shape our future Data Platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data ingestion and transformation processes. Your work will ensure that high‑quality, reliable data is consistently delivered into our Fabric environment to support analytics, reporting, and data‑driven decision-making.
Your tasks
* Design and build data workflows using Fabric Data Pipelines
* Ensure timely and accurate data loading into our Fabric environment
* Continuously improve existing data loading processes to enhance reliability and reduce costs
* Write efficient, scalable SQL for data transformation
* Implement CI/CD best practices
* Monitor pipeline performance and proactively troubleshoot issues
* Contribute to data architecture and data modeling discussions
Your profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
* 3+ years of hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development
* Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Dataflows)
* Solid SQL skills for data transformation and optimization
* Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, etc.)
* Data modeling skills (e.g., star schema, dimensional modeling)
* Proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Experience with Fabric Notebooks and Power BI is a plus
* German skills are a plus
