AOP Health is the European pioneer for integrated therapies for rare diseases and in critical care. To enhance our team in Vienna we are looking for a:
Senior Manager Treasury who will lead global treasury activities and ensure sustainable funding of our growth strategy. You will safeguard liquidity, manage financial risks, and act as a strategic partner for pipeline investments, licensing deals, and international expansion.
What Your Day To Day Will Look Like
Liquidity & Cash Management
* Lead global cash positioning and forecasting (short- and long-term)
* Optimize working capital and intercompany funding structures
* Ensure sufficient funding for R&D, clinical programs, and operations
Financing & Capital Structure
* Support debt financing and capital market transactions
* Evaluate funding strategies for clinical development, M&A, licensing, and CapEx
* Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions
Risk, Operations & Governance
* Develop and execute FX and interest rate hedging strategies
* Oversee cash pooling, bank accounts, and treasury systems
* Ensure robust internal controls and regulatory compliance
* Maintain strong treasury governance and support audits
Strategic Business Partnering
* Collaborate with FP&A, Business Development, and Commercial teams
* Support financial modelling and funding strategies for pipeline investments, licensing and M&A
Your Qualifications And Experience
* Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
* CFA, ACT, CTP, or similar certification is a plus
* 8+ years of treasury or corporate finance experience
* Experience in pharma, biotech, or life sciences preferred
* Strong expertise in cash forecasting, hedging instruments, and financial modelling
* Experience with TMS and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
* Initial leadership experience and strong stakeholder management skills
* Strategic mindset with operational execution capability
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
* High integrity and strong governance orientation
* Strong analytical and risk assessment skills

* Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to disclose the collective agreement minimum salary, which is EUR 49.840,- gross per year, based on full-time employment. However, our actual remuneration packages are market-oriented and aligned with your qualifications and professional experience.
