Our client is a leading international consumer goods company known for innovative products, strong brands, and sustainable corporate values. To strengthen their sales team, we are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Key Account Manager DIY (m/w/d) to oversee and develop customer relationships within the DIY segment.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Customer Management: Develop and implement account plans focusing on DIY retail chains.
2. Sales & Negotiations: Plan, negotiate, and finalize annual agreements, ensuring sales and margin targets are met.
3. Product Range Management: Collaborate with customers to optimize product assortments and introduce new products.
4. Market & Competitor Analysis: Identify market trends and competitor activities to derive growth strategies.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as marketing, product management, and supply chain.
Requirements
* Experience: Several years of experience in key account management, ideally within the DIY sector or consumer goods industry.
* Skills: Negotiation expertise, strategic thinking, and a strong customer focus.
* Qualifications: Degree in business administration, marketing, or a comparable qualification.
* Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and high self-motivation.
* Language Skills: Fluent in German and English.
