The Games Portfolio Analyst is transforming data into knowledge to support and make business decisions. With profound analytical skills, the Games Portfolio Analyst uses scientific methods to answer important questions and defines requirements for collecting required data.The Games Portfolio Analyst explores possibilities to analyze competitor products and other data on operator websites to understand the needs of customers and markets even better.In addition to the analytical part, the Games Portfolio Analyst has an active role in aligning the portfolio strategy with the game studios and Greentube management. Together with the studios, the Games Portfolio Analyst ensures that games are tagged properly to support future analytics.
Your tasks
Game strategy and market analysis
* Establish a scientific method to support strategic business decisions
* Analyze existing and new markets as well as the popularity of games, new features and game mechanics and identify gaps in our portfolio
* Work with our BI team to define and implement reports which are required to make strategic choices and decisions in our daily operation
* Suggest games portfolio for new markets based on market analysis and collected data
Enhancement of internal products and tools
* Identify blind spots in our data, define requirements for collecting additional data and work with development teams to find solutions to collect missing data
* Work with the development team to establish player behavior tracking and analysis
* Establish a process for AB testing and align with the development teams to implement the required features in the platform
* Ensure that our games are tagged properly to draw conclusions about the popularity of game mechanics, features and themes
Games product support
* Maintain the process for managing and steering our portfolio
* Collaborate with our internal and external game studios across the world to make sure, our portfolio and strategy is aligned
* Make decisions for our operational business based on collected data
Your profile
* Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Data Science or Business Administration
* Minimum of 2 years ofexperience in a similar role or field
* Very strong analytical skills
* Intermediate experience with SQL (preferably with MS SQL Server)
* Intermediate experience with reporting tools, such as Tableau
* Understanding of statistical methods
* Proactive and precise attitude to work
* Enthusiasm when dealing with data and figures
* Customer oriented
* High affinity for internet technologies and e-commerce
* Very good command of both spoken and written English, German is considered an asset
