Senior ServiceNow Developer – Tricentis
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support, maintain, and develop our support team’s ServiceNow instances. The role involves intake of business requests from the support team and partnership with IT and service delivery teams. A deep technical knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and CSM, strong communication skills, experience in chatbot development, and a strong understanding of AI concepts are required.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement and maintain ServiceNow applications and related integrations from initiation to completion, tailored to the business requirements.
* Develop workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications and automate and improve business processes.
* Understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high‑quality solutions to our customers.
* Design quality features and plan how the applications and solutions will evolve in the future, including Chatbot and AI concepts.
* Solve complex problems in a highly dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
* Maintain a strong focus on code quality, reusability and maintainability.
Qualifications
* Expertise level understanding of the ServiceNow Platform and its capabilities.
* 4+ years’ experience with ServiceNow app development.
* Experience understanding business needs and standardizing processes and solutions at a design level.
* Understanding of service‑oriented architecture, software application architecture and ability to consult with end‑users on these topics.
* Experience with web technologies: JavaScript (ES5+), HTML, CSS/SCSS, SQL.
* Knowledge of web‑based protocols and standards (web services, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML).
* Understanding of data structures, algorithms, object‑oriented design, design patterns and performance/scale considerations.
* Experience in AI Chatbot development (NLP, ML, LLM) and understanding UX principles for conversational design.
* Result‑oriented with good communication skills.
* Critical thinking skills and ability to work through problems.
Nice to Have
* Experience in one or more JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or React.
* Ability to lead small project teams.
* 3+ years of working experience with ServiceNow modules such as Service Portal, CSM and ITSM.

We are under legal obligation in Austria to indicate the minimum salary, which is EUR 53.802 gross per year for this position according to the IT collective agreement. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.
