We're looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join Future Group on a 6-month fixed-term contract while one of our team steps up into higher duties. We're looking for someone who
* Looking for a 6 month Fixed term contract opportunity.
* Is a CA or CPA-qualified accountant with strong financial accounting and reporting expertise.
* Brings hands-on experience in invoicing, accounts receivable, month-end/year-end close and tax compliance.
* Thrives in a fast-paced, growing organisation and adapts with flexibility as priorities shift.
* Balances sharp attention to detail with the ability to step back and see the bigger picture.
* Has a continuous improvement mindset and enjoys challenging the status quo to build scalable, future-ready processes.
* Communicates financial concepts in a clear, practical way, making it easy for both finance and non-finance colleagues to understand.
In this role, you will
* Lead the invoicing and accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely billing and prompt collection.
* Take ownership of the month-end and year-end close processes to deliver reliable and on-time financial and management reports.
* Assist with the preparation and lodgement of federal and state taxation returns, while partnering with external accountants and tax specialists.
* Support a smooth, efficient audit process in collaboration with external auditors.
* Provide trusted technical accounting advice and support to colleagues in Finance and the wider organisation.
* Drive process improvement and scalability, helping to refine and standardise financial accounting policies and procedures as the business grows.
