Responsibilities
1. Lead and mentor a cross-functional AI team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
2. Guide and support your team in the design, development, and deployment of AI models and systems, including LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic).
3. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables in an agile setup
4. Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business units to align AI initiatives with strategic goals
5. Uphold high standards for robust deployment and production readiness of AI solutions in cloud environments (Azure, GCP, etc.)
6. Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI and proactively integrate new technologies into our roadmap
Qualifications
7. University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
8. A genuine passion for people leadership with at least 2 years of experience managing and mentoring technical teams in an agile environment.
9. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python or another object-oriented programming language
10. Solid experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform
11. Strong understanding of deployment and production workflows for AI systems
12. Familiarity with LLMs and generative AI technologies (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic)
13. Java experience is a plus
