As CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST & PRESS SPOKESPERSON, you will be the voice of Julius Meinl – shaping and executing communication strategies that elevate our public presence and bring our brand story to life, both inside and outside the company. This role is both strategic and hands-on: you'll develop key narratives and long-term plans, while also preparing content yourself, managing media relationships, and taking the lead on day-to-day communication activities. It’s the perfect opportunity for someone currently in a regional/local communications role ready to step into a global position – or a No. 2 spokesperson eager to take the lead.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

External Communications & Media Relations

* Act as the Group’s official spokesperson, handling press inquiries and public statements.
* Develop and execute proactive media strategies that support brand, product, innovation, and sustainability initiatives.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers across Europe and globally.
* Write and manage media materials: press releases, speeches, articles, and op-eds.
* Oversee the company’s LinkedIn presence and support the Key Voices Program, enabling senior leaders to contribute to Julius Meinl’s public voice.

Internal Communications

* Design and lead engaging internal communication initiatives that support transparency and alignment.
* Organize and moderate Global Coffeehouse Meetings (Townhalls).
* Own and evolve Meinl Connect, our internal communications platform, ensuring it remains a vibrant, relevant hub for employees.
* Partner closely with the People & Culture team and Leadership on change communications and engagement initiatives.

Content & Digital Storytelling

* Create inspiring and authentic content across multiple formats: speeches, video scripts, social posts, internal messages, and more.
* Align storytelling across all platforms to strengthen employer branding and reinforce the Julius Meinl voice.
* Ensure tone, style, and messaging are consistent with the brand’s global identity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Act as a communications partner and advisor to the executive leadership team.
* Collaborate with colleagues in Brand, Marketing, Digital, Sustainability, and People & Culture.
* Coordinate external agencies and partners – while confidently handling content and execution independently when needed.

YOUR PROFILE:

* Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
* 5–7 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or media.
* Strong writing, storytelling, and editorial skills in German (native level required) and English (professional level required).
* Hands-on experience in both strategic planning and operational content creation.
* Passion for social media, media relations, and internal platforms – especially LinkedIn and employer branding.
* Background in premium consumer goods, hospitality, lifestyle, or a related field is a plus.
* Curious, self-driven, and energized by communication in all its forms – from strategy decks to Slack posts.

Our remuneration packages are market-oriented and reflect the qualifications and experience of each candidate. The annual gross salary for this role starts at EUR 65,000 plus a yearly bonus.
