* Degree in Computer Science or Business Information Technology
* Sound knowledge of the Java EE architecture stack
* Sound knowledge of the latest application servers and relational databases
* Sound knowledge of drafting and documenting complex software systems (UML, ARC42)
* Comprehensive job experience in developing Java EE-based applications
* Experience in insurance application architecture
* Good knowledge of current IT trends
* Ideally CPSA-A certified
