What will your day look like?
1. Take full ownership of the store and its commercial success, including all necessary tasks;
2. Lead and manage the team, store operations, and ensure its smooth functioning;
3. Drive improvements in sales, efficiency, and profitability, including budget planning and sales control;
4. Lead by example in customer service, actively engaging in sales and coaching team members on the sales floor;
5. Oversee product placement (visual merchandising), stock tracking, and sales planning;
6. Co-create promotional materials and product visuals together with the Retail Manager and Country Manager, and manage the store’s presence on social media;
7. Handle hiring, onboarding, and continuous training of shop assistants and part-timers, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance assessment;
8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic store and storage area;
9. Assist in organizing, preparing, and executing events in-store or outside regular business activities;
10. Share best practices to drive collective performance across all GymBeam stores.
Who are we looking for?
11. Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a store manager;
12. Experience in retail sales environment (nutrition/sport/fashion preferably);
13. Customer and goal-oriented, communicative, positive personality;
14. Familiarity with financial and customer service principles;
15. Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work;
16. Marketing & social media communication skills are an advantage;
17. Detail oriented team player with a proven record of leading the team;
18. Medium level of English language and Microsoft Office / Google Suite.
