Known for our commitment to sustainable viticulture and expressive, terroir-driven wines, we’re seeking a passionate and dynamic Direct to Consumer Sales Manager to join our team and elevate our customer experience.
The Role
As the Direct to Consumer (DTC) Sales Manager, you will lead the development and execution of our DTC sales strategy, driving growth through our cellar door, wine club, e-commerce platform, and direct marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in building lasting relationships with our customers and enhancing brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a strategic DTC sales plan to increase revenue and customer engagement.
* Work closely with the Cellar Door manager to develop and maintain exceptional customer experiences and consistent sales performance.
* Grow and manage the wine clubs, enhancing member retention and acquisition.
* Drive e-commerce sales through our websites, optimising user experience and digital marketing campaigns.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content, promotions, and events that align with the brand’s vision.
* Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Manage budgets, sales targets, and performance metrics for the DTC channel.
* Liaise with the Cellar Door Manager to train and motivate a small team of cellar door and sales staff.
* Represent Dandelion Vineyards at events, tastings, and industry functions to promote the brand.
* Work a minimum of two days in the cellar door.
What We’re Looking For
* 3+ years of experience in DTC sales, preferably in the wine or hospitality industry.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer bases.
* Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
* Passion for wine and knowledge of the Australian wine industry (WSET or similar qualifications a plus).
* Leadership experience with the ability to inspire others.
* Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
