The Austrian Red Cross is seeking an experienced and motivated Protection, Gender, and Inclusion (PGI) Advisor to support the regional AutRC Women's Empowerment Program in East Africa. This position shall ensure that the program is guided by strong PGI expertise regarding PGI knowledge, skills and cultural sensitivity in line with AutRC's commitment to localization and sustainable impact. The PGI Advisor will strengthen the capacities of partner National Societies in Ethiopia, Uganda, and Rwanda to apply a gender-transformative approach at institutional, programmatic, and community levels, providing strategic guidance, technical advice, and hands-on support to foster inclusion and equality.
