As a corporate startup of ÖBB, our mission is to make the diversity of mobility throughout Austria easy to use. For this purpose, we have developed a leading Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform including the app “wegfinder”.
Our native mobile app combines public transport, shared mobility, and other transportation options into a single, user-friendly experience. With wegfinder, users can discover routes, compare transport options, and book tickets, vehicles, and trips all in one app.
Your Job, you...
1. provide mentorship and leadership to the QA team, fostering collaboration and high performance and equip the QA team with the right tools and streamline processes to support efficient and reliable QA workflows.
2. coordinate closely with Product Owners on release timelines, overseeing release preparations and stakeholder communications.
3. manage app store submissions and ensure compliance with relevant platform requirements.
4. ensure test environments and practices closely mirror production conditions for accurate validation.
5. oversee the evolution of QA processes, ensuring alignment with the broader IT strategy and goals and encourage and support active QA involvement in cross-functional delivery teams.
6. define, track, and maintain QA-related KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Your Profil, you...
7. have experience in leading and mentoring QA professionals within cross-functional delivery teams.
8. bring excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical topics to both developers and testers.
9. display a forward-thinking mindset, with a strong drive to spot and implement process enhancements.
10. have a solid track record in software testing, with hands-on experience in manual testing of mobile applications.

12. We follow a hybrid work model, spending some time in the office but primarily working from home.

15. Monthly € mobility budget for private use in the wegfinder app.

17. For this full-time position (.5 hours per week), the monthly minimum salary, as per the collective agreement (travel agency), is established at €2.,- gross (x annually). Don’t worry, your actual salary will be individually negotiated based on your qualifications and experience.
