Position overview
Are you interested in creating new paint formulas with resins? We are looking for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team. The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for performing testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Responsibilities
1. Perform all laboratory tests according to written instructions, including existing/newly introduced equipment
2. Perform mathematical calculations using supplied equations or spreadsheets
3. Use ERP software for incoming material control, entering QC data, and generating COAs
4. Maintain housekeeping in Laboratory
5. Quality control of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods, including quick troubleshooting
6. Understand the analytical test method
7. Ensure that test equipment is calibrated and monitored
8. Ensure that tests are correctly carried out, documented, and up-to-date
9. Conduct and coordinate Round Robins and measurement variant analysis
10. Coordinate and investigate complaint management processes
11. Maintain accurate records of all Quality Control data
12. Generate product information for release and troubleshooting
Required skills and experience
1. Good computer literacy
2. Knowledge of operating systems and basic office software
3. Experience with proprietary software is a plus
4. Self-starter with good communication skills
5. Detail-oriented
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
