The Role
We are looking for a hands‑on operations professional with a strong hospitality background – someone who has grown through the operational path into management, thrives on independence, and is eager to build a new market from the ground up. Experience in Austria and a deep understanding of the local hospitality landscape are essential.
Responsibilities
* Manage and launch local operations, focusing on 5‑star guest experience, profitability and business growth.
* Manage and own budgets and P&L across our portfolio in Vienna.
* Define and scope team goals based on company‑wide OKRs and lead your team to deliver exceptional results.
* Take responsibility for hiring, onboarding, and off‑boarding team members.
* Develop cross‑functional partnerships, actively solve problems, and unblock team members while positively challenging and encouraging participation.
* Be an active role model for Bob W’s mission, strategy, and culture.
* Work on a rotating schedule (Monday‑Sunday) with two days off weekly, including shared on‑call responsibilities.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience working in operations within the hospitality industry and at least 1‑2 years with P&L ownership.
* Independent, hands‑on, and proactive – someone who thrives on building and running operations from the ground up.
* Proven experience working in Austria with strong knowledge of the local market, suppliers, and hospitality standards.
* Customer service‑driven attitude and passion for delivering world‑class guest experiences.
* Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to proactively anticipate and address potential issues.
* Experience in hiring, onboarding, off‑boarding and leading a team.
* Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
* Fluent in German and English.
* Lives in Vienna.

The minimum monthly gross salary for this role is according to the applicable collective agreement. We offer a competitive salary above this level, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
