The Marketing & Communications team sits at the center of this, responsible for ensuring customer updates, campaigns, and compliance-driven communications are delivered with accuracy and impact.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Communications Manager to join the Marketing & Communications team on a 6-month contract, supporting a broad mix of external communications, mandatory customer updates, and some internal collateral. You’ll take ownership of time-sensitive communications around regulatory changes, service updates, and product rollouts ensuring customers receive clear, accurate messaging across letters, website updates, FAQs, and more. With strategies already set, your role is to own execution: asking the right questions, working closely with internal stakeholders, briefing third-party suppliers, and ensuring approvals are secured to meet tight timeframes. This is a perfect role for someone who is structured and outcomes-driven, and who knows how to manage communications with purpose, process, and clarity.
You'll report into the Head of Communications and work closely with the Head of Strategy, Marketing & Comms, within a warm and supportive team.
THE DUTIES
* Draft and coordinate mandatory external communications to customers (approx. 70–80% of the role)
* Write regulatory updates, customer letters, and notices related to service or payment structure changes
* Support the creation of FAQs, process guides, and web content aligned to key project rollouts
* Contribute to blog posts, campaign messaging, and social media content
* Brief third-party agencies and vendors to ensure mailouts are timely and accurate
* Collaborate with Product, Project Management, and Strategy teams to gather input and ensure alignment
* Follow set communication strategies and contribute to execution and stakeholder approvals
* Ask the right questions to ensure content is compliant, complete, and correct
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* 3+ years’ experience in a communications role within payments, banking, insurance, asset finance, or another regulated industry
* Deep understanding of external, regulatory, and customer communications
* Able to confidently manage competing priorities, secure approvals, and meet tight deadlines
* Comfortable working in fast-moving, structured, compliance-led environments
* Refined, articulate communicator with a clear, structured writing style and strong attention to detail
