IT Support Specialist
Location: Laakrichen, Austria
Type: Part-time (Weekly 2 days visit)
Hours: 8 hours per day
Skills & Description: BCIC Swiss GmBH | Best Connect International Company is seeking a part-time on-site IT Support Specialist in Austria.
Responsibilities
* Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
* Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
* Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
* Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
* Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office 2010. Cisco Jabber is also supported.
* Have basic knowledge of Mac OS to support Apple PC users.
* Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and hardware.
* Perform preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
* Perform repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
* Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues.
* Possess broad IT knowledge, including networks, servers, AV, smart devices, and telecoms.
* Work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Must hold a valid work permit.
* Extensive knowledge of IT and computers.
* Good command of the local language and English.
* Several years of professional experience in user support and solution design.
