This is a long-term, site-based position on a flagship project with high technical complexity.Project DetailsLocation: AustriaSector: HydropowerDuration: 2 yearsStart: ASAP (flexible for the right candidate)Work rights: EU / Austrian right to work required (no visa support)Role OverviewThe Site Quality Manager will lead all quality-related activities across site execution and manufacturing interfaces, working closely with turbine, generator, and structural suppliers to ensure equipment meets contractual and project-specific quality requirements prior to installation.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and manage the Project Quality Management System on siteOversee QA/QC activities across civil, structural, and electromechanical scopesConduct inspections and acceptance of hydropower components at supplier facilitiesReview and approve manufacturer quality documentation, ITPs, and inspection recordsSupport manufacturers in implementing project-specific quality requirementsManage NCRs, audits, FATs, and quality reportingAct as the key interface between site teams, suppliers, and the client to ensure quality alignment from factory to installationKey RequirementsProven experience as a Site Quality Manager / QAQC Manager on large hydropower or heavy infrastructure projectsStrong background working with hydropower equipment manufacturers (turbines, generators, gates, steel structures, etc.)Solid understanding of manufacturing quality processes, inspections, and acceptance proceduresExperience conducting factory inspections and supplier quality managementAbility to commit full-time on site for the project durationFluent English required (German advantageous, not essential)Contract & PackageLong-term contract (~2 years)Competitive package, aligned with experience and project scopeShow more Show less
