Roles and Responsibilities
* Setup and configuration of system infrastructure, including HP server/client hardware and Cisco/HP Aruba switches
* Installation and configuration of Linux operating systems (RedHat preferred) using Ansible
* Configuration and tuning of proprietary internal software solutions
* Execution of various configuration tasks, such as build scripts, monitoring, control, and automation
* Creation, verification, and execution of system test procedures aligned with customer requirements
* Management and execution of work packages, including design, configuration, and testing, utilizing JIRA and Confluence
* Close collaboration with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and compliance with customer need
Skills required
* Education in computer science, engineering, or relevant work experience
* Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems (preferably RedHat)
* Good understanding of network technologies (Layer 2/3, Cisco/Aruba)
* Experience with automation and DevOps tools (such as Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes)
* Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting
* Strong general IT and engineering skills with a structured and solution-oriented approach
* Familiarity with project management and documentation tools (JIRA and Confluence)
* Advantageous: Experience with AutoCAD/QGIS and knowledge of A-SMGCS technology
* Fluency in spoken and written English, Basic knowledge of German is an advantage

In Austria, we are obliged to state the minimum salary according to the collective agreement: The minimum salary according to the IT collective agreement for this position is EUR 3,843,- gross per month (14 times per year). Depending on the respective experience level and personal profile, we offer an attractive overpayment.
