Job Description
What you can expect
Business Development & Revenue Growth
* Acquire new customers (C level and above) to generate GP and shipment volumes.
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed targets.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, and market intelligence.
Account Development
* Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned customers with a focus on long-term value.
* Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across air and ocean services.
* Build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
Customer Strategy & Segmentation
* Focus on acquiring and developing C, B, and A-level customers.
* Support the transition of smaller (D-level) customers to inside sales where appropriate.
* Contribute to account planning and segmentation strategies.
Sales Process & Tools
* Use CRM systems to manage pipeline, track opportunities, and ensure accurate forecasting.
* Maintain high-quality data and reporting standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Work closely with internal teams to develop tailored logistics solutions.
* Ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
What you bring
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
* 2 to 4 years of experience in Sales or freight forwarding operations
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Good commercial awareness with a focus on pricing and profitability
* Proficiency in CRM systems and tools.
