Role Overview
In Process Engineering, you will be central to designing, implementing, and optimizing blood plasma production facilities in Vienna. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will shape process development, support routine operations, and lead innovative projects to improve efficiency and ensure future sustainability.
Responsibilities
* Serve as technical SME for processes and equipment in biopharmaceutical production
* Coordinate with local and global teams (Manufacturing, Science, Quality, Engineering)
* Maintain and improve production and support systems to ensure stable operations
* Standardize and develop process equipment and models
* Lead feasibility studies, technical specifications, and project management including timelines and budgets
* Implement technical upgrades and innovations
* Ensure GxP-compliant documentation of all activities
Qualifications
* Degree in natural sciences or engineering (HTL, FH, or university), with focus on Chemistry, Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
* Several years of engineering experience, preferably in pharma GxP environments
* Experience in planning, constructing, and commissioning technical facilities in regulated industries
* Strong interpersonal skills, high responsibility, and structured work approach
* Proficient in project budgeting and scheduling
* Excellent German and English language skills
Benefits
The minimum salary is €4,270.14 gross/month (full-time, chemical industry collective agreement), with actual compensation based on experience and qualifications.
