EBG MedAustron is a cancer treatment and research centre in Wiener Neustadt that is unique in Austria. MedAustron uses ion therapy, an innovative form of radiation therapy, in the fight against cancer.

As a Software Developer, you will play a central role in our specialised System Implementation Group and have the unique opportunity to develop software for particle accelerators. You will work in a meaningful environment where your expertise will contribute directly to the further development of our technology and ultimately to improving the quality of life of our patients.

A job where you can make a difference:
* Further development of the Control System Software (in C#)
* Maintain and improve existing software packages
* Assist with completion and testing of large scale integration projects
* Support in C++ development
Skills that make you our strength:
* Completed academic studies (Bachelor or Master) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
* First experience in developing software is an advantage
* Experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET
* Interest in learning in C++ and LabVIEW
* Experience in Angular, TypeScript
* Fluency in verbal and written English; German is an advantage
* Willingness to work on call
* Willingness to work in shifts
* Intercultural competence paired with a hands-on mentality
* You are a team player with an independent and structured approach to work
For legal reasons, we are obliged to point out that the minimum gross annual salary for this position is € 46,200 with a willingness to pay above the standard rate, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
