 
        
        Do you have experience in hydraulic development, particularly in turbine development, CFD simulation, and geometry optimization? We offer you a responsible position at our Wels location - in a dynamic and technically demanding environment.
Your Responsibilities:
 * Development and optimization of hydraulic turbine components through CFD studies and evaluation of power plant data
 * Performing flow simulations with Ansys CFX and Ansys Fluent and analytical calculations (e.g., pressure/speed increase, worst-case scenarios) for internal research and client reports
 * Planning, conducting, and evaluating model tests in close collaboration with partner institutes
 * Contributing to national and international research projects including funding applications
 * Analysis and evaluation of plant measurements worldwide (e.g., efficiency, vibrations, loads)
 * Automating simulations and evaluations using script coding (e.g., Python, Perl, VBA) including data analysis and process modeling
 * Contributing to the development of calculation and design guidelines
Your Profile:
 * Completed Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, Sustainable Energy Systems, or a related field
 * At least 10 years of professional experience in turbine designing, CFD geometry development, data analysis, and plant measurements – ideally combined with experience in refurbishment projects or a related technical field
 * In-depth knowledge of flow simulations, geometry optimization, and test evaluations
 * Proficient in Ansys Fluent/CFX and Python, Perl or VBA
 * Structured working style and a strong willingness to learn
 * Excellent command of English (spoken and written); good German skills are an advantage
 * Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 10%)
