Responsibilities
* Independent planning, organization, and management of material development projects (focus on plastics) and compound development
* Hands‑on work using plastic‑specific technical lab equipment (e.g. single‑screw extruder, co‑kneader, internal mixer for elastomers)
* Development of new formulations and optimization of existing ones
* Execution of projects in collaboration with suppliers, customers and R&D centers, as well as active expansion of an international expert network through committees, conferences and trade fairs
* Designing, supervising, and mentoring thesis projects and internships
* Theoretical evaluation and practical testing of innovative technologies in the plastics sector
* Preparation and professional presentation of research and development results, both internally and externally
Your Tasks

Your Profile
* Completed technical education (technical college/university of applied sciences/university) in materials science, plastics engineering, or organic chemistry
* Ideally, professional or research experience in the field of polymers or materials
* Fluent in German and English
* Solution‑oriented, creative, and proactive mindset with a strong sense of curiosity
* Reliable personality with clear and persuasive communication and reasoning skills
* Strong analytical abilities and a structured way of working
