* Design, implement, administer, and support international server and network environments, ensuring compliance with group-wide guidelines.
* Support the implementation and administration of international server and cloud environments following global standards and architecture guidelines.
* Collaborate with global Cloud leadership to ensure consistent application of cloud architecture standards, security policies, and modernization initiatives.
* Oversee the modernization of IT infrastructure across Europe and the UK or North America, supporting the transition from on-premise to cloud environments.
* Provide expert knowledge in developing, implementing, and monitoring cloud resources and network environments, including Microsoft Azure, Fortinet, and Aruba.
* Lead and collaborate with distributed teams of internal and external specialists to ensure smooth IT operations.
* Manage support activities (remote and on-site), acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), Single Point of Contact (SPOC), and Tier 3 technical expert for escalation management.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including server migrations, Zero Trust Security implementation, hardware standardization, and automation of administrative tasks.
* Maintain and update IT documentation, including process and data flow diagrams, to support effective communication and knowledge sharing.
* Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization, applying FinOps principles to achieve cost efficiency.
* Implement best practices for cybersecurity, including identity management and hardening standards.
Education and/or Experience
Required:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT operations, including a combination of cloud infrastructure, network engineering, and cybersecurity.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Azure configuration and operations, network engineering (Fortinet and Aruba), and cybersecurity principles.
* For EU support, must speak German.
Conditions of Role:
* Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to office locations and manufacturing sites across Europe and the UK.
* Physical Conditions: Office presence with ability to occasionally work remotely.
* Work Environment: Hybrid working environment supporting both manufacturing (OT) and office environments.
