Your personal sphere of influence:As a university assistant prae doc, you will complement the research team around Prof. Sonia Kleindorfer and be responsible for leading and developing your PhD project in the area of bioacoustics, assist with tasks such as student supervision, and contribute to field work projects as guided by Prof. Kleindorfer.The focus of our research is animal communication and the development of software tools for automated data analysis and improved bioacoustic data storage and analysis, including using bioacoustic data to study mechanistic and functional aspects of animal communication. Our BirdLab Team currently consists of two postdocs, five prae docs, and administrative colleagues.What makes us special as a team is our community-oriented approach and synergistic research aims that interlink.
