Responsibilities
* Autonomous research and publication activities in the field of Economics
* Participation in existing research projects and development of new research projects in the field of Environmental Economics
* Participation in the application process for third‑party funded projects
* Independent teaching of courses and conducting examinations in Economics, e.g., international economics and environmental economics, depending on departmental needs
* Professional and organisational supervision of students
* Participation in organisational and administrative tasks such as organising seminars/workshops
* Assistance with the supervision of doctoral students
Profile
* Completed doctorate/PhD in Social Sciences or Economics
* Publications in internationally recognised journals and participation in international congresses in environmental economics
* Experience in external funded research projects
* Teaching experience in microeconomics or similar subjects
* Excellent written and spoken German and English
* Enjoyment of scientific work and working with students
* Independent and goal‑oriented working style
* Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
