Software Architect (f/m/x)
Key Responsibilities
Define the vision by supporting clients in establishing a long‑term technical vision and architectural roadmap for critical e‑commerce solutions.
Architect scalable, robust, and resilient solutions, mastering SAP CX ecosystem complexities, especially SAP Commerce Cloud.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into robust architectural designs.
Work closely with Product Leads and Agile Delivery Leads to ensure architectural integrity and quality of all deliverables.
Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices through design reviews and mentorship.
Mentor development teams on architectural principles and advanced technical topics.
Proactively improve the organization’s technical strategy and architectural patterns.
Essential Skills
8+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, with 4+ years in a senior architectural role.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (minimum B2).
Completed technical studies related to software engineering.
Ability to choose appropriate architectural approaches (microservices, SOA) for existing projects.
High personal standards regarding non‑functional requirements (scalability, performance, security, quality).
Beneficial Skills
Hands‑on experience with SAP CX suite, especially SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.
Basic knowledge of modern web ops principles.
Familiarity with event‑driven architecture and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Solid experience with Java and Spring ecosystems.
Experience with headless e‑commerce concepts and modern front‑end frameworks.
Understanding of CI/CD and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
German language skills.
