Energy Storage Account Director – CEE Region
As the Energy Storage Account Director, you will lead the development and promotion of advanced energy storage solutions in the CEE region, focusing on electricity power systems and commercial & industrial (C&I) applications. Your role includes building the ZTE own ecosystem in the energy industry, identifying strategic opportunities, managing key stakeholders, participating in tenders, and aligning technical solutions with customer needs. You will collaborate with internal sales, engineering, and solution teams to drive business growth in the CEE region, starting from Austria.
Responsibilities
* Analyze and understand the CEE countries energy storage market landscape, power/energy policies, and engage with key players to uncover market demand and technology trends.
* Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement local go‑to‑market strategies to promote our energy solutions (solar power plant, C&I energy storage, massive energy storage, hybrid energy systems).
* Tender and Proposal Management: Lead and coordinate bid activities for opportunities with telecom operators, municipal utilities, and large enterprises. Customize and deliver technical and commercial proposals.
* Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, and EPCs. Understand customer requirements and translate them into tailored energy solutions.
* Technical Support & Workshops: Organize and deliver product presentations and technical workshops. Support customer field trials and provide remote or onsite technical assistance when needed.
* Project and Sample Testing Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of sample tests and pilot installations, ensuring effective performance evaluation with client stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
* At least 3–5 years of experience in the electricity and energy industry with exposure to sales, engineering, or business development functions.
* Technical Knowledge: Familiar with lithium battery systems, DC rectifier systems, solar inverters, and BMS/EMS. Experience with system installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting is preferred.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. German language skills are a plus.
* Professional Attributes: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, proactive work attitude, ability to work under pressure and independently.
* Willingness to travel across Austria and other CEE countries for customer visits, tenders, or events.
