The Opportunity
We’re seeking an Engineering Procurement Coordinator to join our dynamic team at the Tullamarine site, with occasional travel to Woodend. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll work closely with both the Maintenance, Production and Procurement teams to manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and engineering parts logistics. This newly created role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effective solutions as the site transitions to full production.
The Role
* Lead the management and renewal of service contracts with engineering vendors.
* Establish and manage the interface with TOLL (3PL provider), including engineering store setup and long‑term parts storage strategy.
* Develop and lead the offsite repair/refurbishment program for engineering components, ensuring cost‑effective reuse.
* Monitor and follow up on PRs and POs to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
* Collaborate with Procurement to align with global strategies and ensure value‑for‑money.
* Support inventory management activities including cycle counting and coverage for Inventory Controller.
Your Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated experience in engineering procurement, contract management, and/or vendor coordination.
* Strong working knowledge of SAP, particularly in managing PRs, POs, inventory and offsite repair workflows.
* Experience with third‑party logistics (3PL) operations and warehouse strategy.
* Familiarity with engineering components and refurbishment processes.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across maintenance, production, and procurement functions.
