About the Role

North Rankin A (NRA) Flare Support Structure (FSS) Guy‑Wire Replacement (GWR) project is tasked with the replacement of 4 off guy wires, one at a time using subsea detensioning/tensioning tools supplemented with fine tensioning capability on the topsides. The new wires will be anchored to the FSS jacket at new welded anchor points and connected back to the existing subsea anchor boxes.

Reporting to the Health and Safety Team Lead, you will play a key role and act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Health and Safety foundations (Safety, Health, Process Safety, Human Factors, Investigations) and/or Golden (or Life) Safety Rules.


Location

* Initial placement in the Perth Office for project FEED and Execute phase(s).
* North Rankin Facility / Vessel time to support offshore execute phase.
* Ability to travel international, domestic and to assets vis rotary wing (if required).


Duties & Responsibilities

The planned scope of work includes:

* Provide comprehensive Health and Safety guidance and analysis as required by the North Rankin A (NRA) Flare Support Structure (FSS) Guy‑Wire Replacement (GWR) team;
* Responsible for working independently to deliver quality technical outcomes;
* Strong understanding of Safety in Design principles, ensuring risks are proactively identified and mitigated early in the design process to protect people, assets, and the environment.
* Strong understanding of Psychosocial Safety principles, ensuring the identification, management, and reduction of psychological risks in the workplace in accordance with relevant regulatory and industry standards.
* Responsible for learning and understanding the business context of work activities and assignments;
* Ability to undertake trend analysis and analytics to drive improvement campaigns;
* Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills;
* Develop and implement a Field Leadership Activity Plan to guide and structure visible safety leadership engagement by the project team across all stages of the project lifecycle.


Skills & Experience

* Minimum of 7 years experience as a Health & Safety Adviser in the Energy industry or similar heavy industry.
* Tertiary education in a field relative to Woodside’s Health & Safety Capability reference plan is preferred.
* Trade base or similar workplace experience is an advantage.
* Previous project experience with Subsea Vessels and/or Operators Assets highly desirable.
* Demonstrated strong understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) principles, consistent with Energy Institute guidelines and recognised industry standards.
* Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations.
* Demonstrated/proven high level of resilience.
* Possess the ability to manage priorities in a changing environment.
* Demonstrated ability to manage others (direct/indirect).
