Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) for House Repair Claims will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company's house repair claims services. The role requires a strategic and proactive individual to develop relationships with clients, insurance providers, contractors, and other industry stakeholders. The BDM will identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and ensure that the company’s offerings meet market needs while achieving targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct research to identify new opportunities in the house repair claims sector, including trends and competitors. Develop strategies to expand the client base.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies, homeowners, contractors, and property management firms. Serve as the main contact for key clients.
* Business Development: Pursue new opportunities through networking, events, and online platforms. Prepare and present proposals.
* Sales & Revenue: Manage sales pipeline, close deals, and meet targets. Negotiate contracts.
* Project Coordination: Work with operations to ensure timely service delivery. Oversee claims from start to finish.
* Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure seamless service and provide market feedback.
* Reporting & Analysis: Track performance, prepare reports, and update management.
Key Functions
* Manage key accounts and develop new customer relationships.
* Achieve sales targets and KPIs.
* Ensure high customer satisfaction and explore upselling opportunities.
* Coordinate pre- and post-sales activities.
* Build internal relationships and monitor market trends.
* Identify new business opportunities and manage the sales process.
The Profile
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Insurance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 3-5 years in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in insurance, construction, or house repair.
* Knowledge of home repair claims and insurance standards is a plus.
* Skills: negotiation, communication, relationship-building, CRM proficiency, market analysis.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in insurance claims or house repair services.
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
* Customer-focused problem solver.
