PeopleCert is hiring a Localisation Associate to manage the end-to-end translation of Business and IT products from English into German. This includes assets such as official books, exams, and training materials.
Responsibilities
* Create, manage, and implement translation projects within XTM TMS.
* Identify and implement AI tools to improve workflow efficiency.
* Responsible for translation of a variety of content types from English to German.
* Perform file alignments, maintain translation memories, prepare files for translation.
* Source, onboard, and manage external translators, LSPs and SMEs.
* Conduct rigorous quality checks.
* Act as central point of communication for feedback.
* Ensure all administrative duties including file management, reporting, and supplier communications are handled accurately and on time.
Qualifications
* Native or equivalent fluency in German and English, strong translation skills.
* Experience managing translation/localization projects, preferably in professional education sector.
* Academic background in Translation Studies or German Linguistics desirable.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting time and budget requirements.
* Use of CAT tools, MT and TMS, experience with XTM advantageous.
* Experience with file formats and file engineering in localization; ECDL Advanced desirable.
* Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational skills.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, capable of working independently and collaborating closely with stakeholders.
