This position is a key part of our retail team, reporting into SoundBay’s National Retail Manager.
Based in our Forestville Store, you will support and manage team of customer facing sales staff, overseeing all daily operations of the store, enable your team to reach sales targets while delivering best sales and customer service practice.
What we're looking for:
* Someone who has retail leadership experience in a national, or international retail brand.
* Weekend availability
* An understanding of either Musical Instruments, or Audio equipment, that we can expand on.
Regular Duties Include:
* Lead and inspire a team of Sales Consultants to deliver outstanding results.
* Drive store presentation standards across all categories and brands.
* Stay ahead with product knowledge and upcoming launches to keep the team informed.
* Coach and empower staff to hit performance goals and solve operational challenges.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
* Own KPIs and targets while supporting your team to achieve theirs.
* Champion digital tools like Pronto, Zoho, and Microsoft apps for smooth operations.
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
* Experience in leading a customer facing retail team in a national or international retail brand.
* Experience as a musician, with practical knowledge of Musical Instruments and/or Pro Audio gear across our range (guitars, bass, amps, pedals, guitar accessories, studio gear, DJ gear, synths, production, live sound and lighting).
* Highly developed skills in sales training and customer service coaching.
